1. Introductory provisions
These general terms and conditions (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the relationship between Bubblelab s.r.o. (hereinafter the "operator") and users of the websites bubblelab.cz and bubblelab.sk, including the ordering system order.bubblelab.cz / order.bubblelab.sk (hereinafter the "user"). Matters not governed by these Terms are subject in particular to Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Czech Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on consumer protection.
By using the website, the user agrees to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the services
The website serves to present the BubbleLab brand, our drinks menu, our network of locations, career opportunities, and related content (Lab Report, news, limited editions). The sale and consumption of drinks takes place at physical locations, through partner delivery services (Wolt, Bolt, Foodora), or as a pickup order placed through the ordering system at order.bubblelab.cz and order.bubblelab.sk (see Art. 4).
The website is not an e-shop in the traditional sense — drinks are not shipped and are not paid for online; an order simply ensures the drink is prepared at your chosen location for you to pick up and pay for there.
Information about prices, availability, opening hours, and the drinks menu is provided for informational purposes. Binding terms are always set by the specific location or the relevant partner delivery platform. The operator reserves the right to change the offering without prior notice.
3. Who is the seller
BubbleLab locations are not all run by a single entity. Some are operated directly by Bubblelab s.r.o., others by franchise partners — independent companies trading under the BubbleLab brand.
The seller is always the operator of the location you chose — they prepare and hand over the drink, issue your receipt, and you enter into a purchase contract with them. Their business name, company ID, and registered address are shown to you before you submit your order (at checkout in the ordering system) and are also included in the confirmation email. Address any complaints about the drink or disputes primarily with them.
Bubblelab s.r.o. operates the website and the ordering system, manages personal data (see the Privacy Policy), and is responsible for the service functioning as such; it is not, however, responsible for the sale itself at a location run by a franchise partner.
4. Drink pickup orders
4.1 How an order is created
- You place an order at order.bubblelab.cz / order.bubblelab.sk: choose a location, build your drink, and provide your email and phone number (both required, so we can reach you). No account is needed.
- By submitting the order, you make an offer to enter into a purchase contract. The contract is concluded once the order is accepted by the location; we'll send you a confirmation by email along with a link to track its status.
- Prices are shown including VAT and are recalculated server-side based on the chosen location's current offering — the price computed by the server applies, not the price shown in your browser, if the offering has changed in the meantime.
4.2 Pickup and payment
- You pick up your drink at the chosen location at the time you selected. Available times are divided into capacity-limited time slots so staff can prepare orders in time; a full slot isn't offered.
- You pay on site when picking up (cash or card, depending on the location). We don't offer online payment.
- If you have a loyalty card, you can provide its number with your order — staff will apply your discount accordingly when you pay at the location. The discount can't be applied retroactively after payment.
- Once your drink is ready, we'll let you know by email, or by push notification if you have it enabled.
4.3 Cancellations and uncollected orders
- You can cancel an order by contacting the location as soon as possible (see the Contact section for details). If the drink is already prepared, it can no longer be cancelled — it's ready for immediate consumption and can't be resold.
- The operator is entitled to decline or cancel an order, particularly if the location is closed, over capacity, out of an ingredient, or if the order is clearly abusive (fake or repeatedly uncollected orders). In such a case we'll let you know and you won't be charged anything.
- To prevent fake orders, the number of simultaneously uncollected orders per email and phone number is limited.
- For hygiene reasons, we're required to dispose of a drink you don't collect; there's no right to have it handed over later.
4.4 Withdrawal from the contract and complaints
Your drink is prepared to your specification and is a perishable good, so withdrawal from the contract is not possible under Section 1837 of the Civil Code. If you have an issue with your drink (e.g. it doesn't match your order), raise it immediately when you pick it up at the location — we'll resolve it on the spot.
5. Staff reviews
The website lets customers leave feedback about staff through the form at /hodnocení.
5.1 Rules of use
- A review may only be submitted by someone who actually made a purchase, can provide a valid receipt number, and is rating a specific staff member.
- Comments must not contain offensive, vulgar, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful content, nor personal data of third parties.
- The receipt number is verified against the Storyous checkout system. If verification fails, the review won't be accepted.
- A single receipt may only be used for one review.
5.2 Moderation
The operator reserves the right not to publish, or to remove, a review that violates the rules in point 5.1, is clearly false, or abuses the form. Publishing a review does not create any entitlement to a reward or other consideration.
6. Careers
The /kariera section lists current openings for informational purposes. Interested applicants should contact the operator by email at [email protected]. The operator is not obligated to respond to submitted CVs and reserves the right not to enter into an employment relationship with any applicant.
7. Third-party services and links
The website uses the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics — traffic measurement
- Google AdSense — displaying ads
- Google Tag Manager — managing tracking codes
- Google OAuth / Sign in with Google — authenticating employees and partners to internal systems
- Microsoft Entra ID / Sign in with Microsoft — authenticating employees and partners to internal systems
- Storyous — checkout and loyalty system: verifying receipts for reviews and applying discounts by loyalty card number
- Discord — a private internal operations channel where new-order notifications are sent so staff at the location notice them immediately
- Browser push services (Google, Mozilla, Apple) — delivering notifications about order status and news, if you enable them
- Wolt, Bolt, Foodora — delivery services (external links)
The operator is not responsible for the availability, content, or terms of use of external services and websites linked to from bubblelab.cz.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the website — in particular text, photographs, graphics, the logo, the "BubbleLab" trademark, design, and structural elements — is protected by copyright law (Czech Act No. 121/2000 Coll.) and related regulations, and is either owned by the operator or used under a valid license. Any copying, distribution, modification, or commercial use without the operator's written consent is prohibited.
9. Limitation of liability
The operator makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on the website current and accurate, but does not guarantee absolute error-free content, uninterrupted availability, or completeness of information. The operator is not liable for damages arising from reliance on the information provided here, nor for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the website, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Protection of personal data
The processing of users' personal data is governed by a separate document, the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
11. Cookies
The website uses cookies in accordance with Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications. Necessary cookies are always active; others (analytics and advertising) only after consent is given in the cookie bar. See the Privacy Policy for more details.
12. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The entity competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, website: coi.cz. Consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Credit wallet (top-up purchase)
In the BubbleLab app and on the beta loyalty program website you can top up credit — a prepaid balance that staff may deduct from your purchase price at the branch instead of the loyalty discount (see section 4.2). Buying credit is a separate distance financial service, distinct from ordering a drink under section 4.
13.1 How top-up works
- You top up credit by card payment via the Stripe payment gateway — your card number never passes through or is stored on our servers.
- Topped-up credit is added to your account immediately and does not expire.
- Credit can only be used at BubbleLab — it cannot be transferred to another account or paid out in cash, except on withdrawal under section 13.2.
13.2 Withdrawal from the top-up contract
Because this is a distance financial service, under Czech Civil Code § 1829 et seq. you have the right to withdraw from the top-up contract within 14 days of the top-up, without giving a reason — provided you have not yet spent any of the topped-up credit. As soon as you spend even part of the topped-up credit, the right of withdrawal for that top-up lapses.
Exercise withdrawal by email to [email protected] no later than day 14 after the top-up. We will refund the money to the same card used for the top-up within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal.
13.3 VAT
For VAT purposes, credit is a so-called multi-purpose voucher — VAT is not applied at top-up, only when the credit is used to buy a specific drink, at the rate applicable to that drink.
13.4 Misuse and discontinuation of the programme
The operator may refuse a top-up or block credit on reasonable suspicion of misuse (e.g. fraudulent payment, repeated unjustified chargebacks). Should the operator discontinue the credit loyalty programme, unused credit will be refunded to the card it was topped up with, or by another agreed method.
14. Final provisions
The operator reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. By continuing to use the website after a change is published, the user agrees to that change.
Should any provision of these Terms prove invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
Effective: October 9, 2026 (added online card payment at order time via Stripe and the credit wallet — top-up purchase, section 13; the previous version from July 14, 2026 added pickup orders, time slots, on-site payment, the loyalty discount, and order-cancellation rules)
